Michael Weiss, Roman Dobrokhotov, Christo Grozev on 29 April 2024 stated: "Unpublicized tourists include members of Unit 29155 who began traveling to the nearby port city of Thessaloniki - only an hour's drive south-east from the villa - as soon as the Saposnikovs took ownership. Averyanov traveled to Thessaloniki under his cover identity of Andrey Overyanov and stayed in the vicinity of Villa Elena for a week between July 15 and July 21, 2013, metadata from his burner phone obtained by The Insider shows. Averyanov returned to Thessaloniki the following year, on the return leg of a trip he made to Amsterdam on August 25, 2014. At least four other members of Unit 29155 took trips to Thessaloniki and likely also stayed at Villa Elena in the period from 2012 to 2018. Some of these visits coincided with missions the operatives had in the region. For example, Unit 29155 member Alexey Kapinos, whom Saposnikov described to Czech investigators as a family friend, flew to Thessaloniki on a diplomatic passport on April 25, 2014. Just a day earlier, Kapinos' GRU associates, all traveling under fake identities, arrived in Bulgaria".
On 27 Mar 2023, Czech prosecutors are looking to charge Mykola Shaposhnikov, a former Soviet soldier who became a Czech citizen in 1990s, with espionage. But year later, also on April 25, 2014, GRU officer Alexei Kapinos flew to Thessaloniki on a diplomatic passport. Shaposhnikov called him a family friend. On 1 May 2024, informed Elena and Nikolai Shaposhnikov, originally from Kyiv, were involved in organising diversions in Europe, according to The Insider. Villa Elena close to Thessaloniki was run by Czech couple Nikolai and Elena Shaposhnikov, who are also Russian spies, according to an investigation by The Insider. On 30 Apr 2024, inf. former Russian military officer Nikolai Shaposhnikov and his wife Alena helped Russia's GRU organize sabotage in Europe. On 29 Apr 2024, inf. Nikolai Shaposhnikov and also on April 25, 2014, GRU officer Alexei Kapinos flew to Thessaloniki on a diplomatic passport. They co-operated with General Averyanov, the commander of the GRU Unit 29155. A Jewish couple appeared next to me; he 185 cm, devil or horse face, black, black hair, huge lips, ca. 1978/1980; she 155 cm, black and round face, black hair, ca 1980; at Brailswood 32 around 2010/2020; he was Partick / Ivan, Russian language, in Prague flat, couple under care of

"EU Today" wrote on 01 May 2024:
"Elena Shaposhnikova is reported to possess a passport with a number from a range reserved for Russian intelligence operatives. Czech authorities suspect the Shaposhnikovs of involvement in explosions at ammunition depots in Vrbetice in 2014. Former military officer Nikolai Shaposhnikov, a graduate of the engineering faculty of the Baku Higher Military Command School, served in Afghanistan for three years. In 1987, he was stationed in Czechoslovakia, where he served as the commander of a motorized rifle company. However, his expulsion from the Communist Party of the Soviet Union due to repeated thefts of gasoline and batteries from the army led to his dismissal from service. After the withdrawal of Soviet forces from Czechoslovakia, Shaposhnikov returned to the country and applied for political asylum, citing his expulsion from the party as justification. His request was approved in August 1991, and soon after, his wife Olena and their two young children were also granted asylum [they are Ukrainian]. In 1999, after several rejections, Nikolai obtained Czech citizenship, while Elena received hers in 2004. In the early 2000s, Shaposhnikov found employment with Imex, a company involved in arms trading, under the leadership of Petr Bernatik, a former secret informant for the Czechoslovak State Security Service. Shaposhnikov was seeking new clients for the company. Imex leased warehouses in Vrbetice, where explosions occurred in October 2014. In May 2022, Czech publication Respekt reported a criminal case against Mykola and Olena Shaposhnikov for espionage [in March/April 2022 the Georgian intelligence was looking for links to my family because the 1972 visit in Tbilisi - see RESET to Russia of Segal, Wolfowitz and Berger]. Czech police obtained access to correspondence between the Shaposhnikovs and the head of Russian military unit GRU No. 29155, General Andriy Averyanov, containing confidential information about ammunition depots. The daughter of the Shaposhnikovs confirmed to journalists that the family had met Averyanov in Lisbon [around me was a man from LISBON, ca 2007/2008, acc. to me Romani / Cigani, 185 cm, rather b. around 1975, with girl-friend from Romania] in early October 2014. The explosion at the ammunition depot in Vrbetice, Czech Republic, occurred on October 16, 2014. The Insider reports that in 2009, the Shaposhnikovs purchased a villa in Halkidiki, Greece, for Euro 275,000, claiming the purchase was financed with their parents' money. The publication describes the villa as a secret apartment for members of GRU unit 29155 [compare W.
92 and 137]. The Insider also notes that on April 25, 2014, a GRU employee, Alexey Kapinos, arrived in Thessaloniki with a diplomatic passport. Shaposhnikov referred to him as a family friend. The day before, April 24, 2014, three members of GRU unit 29155 arrived in Bulgaria, where local entrepreneur Emelyan Gebrev would be poisoned [around me acted spies from Bulgaria, aft. ca 2010, old man with very long nose, 160 cm; then in 2022 small man, 55 years old, bald, brown face; and now a family of Bulgaria, Jews, a girl 15 aged, light black face, 160 cm at present on 16 June 2024]. Gebrev stated that he had been acquainted with the Shaposhnikovs since 2012 [compare Maciej Igor Wojtczak, b. in Brzesc Kujawski, studied in Wloclawek, together with Radoslaw Sadowski of Przybranowo close to Aleksandrow Kujawski - both spies. Wojtczak married a girl from LIPNO - compare Lech Walesa's fate] and that they actively sought communication with him. At the time of the poisoning, Gebrev was considered a supplier of ammunition to the Ukrainian army. Two sources involved in arms procurement in Ukraine told The Insider that after Gebrev's poisoning, Nikolai Shaposhnikov offered reliable replacements for Ukrainian government buyers. However, Ukraine declined to purchase ammunition from the suggested supplier due to the poor quality of the goods. According to Czech police [around me, Jozef with Polish-Jew-Czechia roots, 184 cm, b. ca 1980 in Tschesin Silesia], Elena Shaposhnikova provided General Averyanov with information via email about future arms deals discovered by her husband during his work at Imex. It is believed that GRU used this information for sabotage operations if these supplies harmed Russian military interests. The investigation suggests that the Shaposhnikovs provided physical access to storage facilities controlled by Imex at least three times for GRU operatives to install remote-controlled detonators. According to travel data obtained by The Insider, Elena Shaposhnikova secretly obtained a Russian passport from a range of numbers reserved for members of unit 29155.
The Insider claims that during her first trip to Russia in December 2015, she was awarded the title of Hero of Russia, although this information lacks official confirmation. Elena / Olena and Mykola / Nikolai Shaposhnikov refused to come to the Czech Republic for questioning, so representatives of the Greek and Bulgarian authorities communicated with them. They stated that all their contacts with GRU members were personal or related to business interests with Imex. They claimed they were unaware that Kapinos and Averyanov were Russian intelligence operatives and denied knowingly aiding GRU in any sabotage operations.
In February 2024, Nikolai Shaposhnikov passed away under unclear circumstances, with The Insider suggesting he began abusing alcohol after becoming a subject of investigation by the Czech police [in January/February 2024, and again in June 2024, around me was an action from Tbilisi, together with Sedzicki-Jaworski clan of Krokusowa 57 and 59 in Lodz; Tarashvili-Turabelidze with Belgium passport; Halina Wodkiewicz m. Elena Shaposhnikova continues to reside in Greece [close Thessaloniki; in 2014/2017 around me an action from Tbilisi, Gypsy with a very long nose, fat, 180 cm, b. ca 1980, under cover of Tczew and a local Borough security agency; with Menkulas in Albania + Polish embassy in Athens, Greece; + Andrzej Wegiera, Gypsy of Tczew, b. ca 1978/1980, very fat man, 172 cm. And again Elena of Thessaloniki, b. ca 1990 + Kerul of Ignalina in Lithuania - this is a group Russian from Ignalina / Ignalino aft. 2007 around me, together with ex-Russian teacher, Alex, 174 cm, b. ca 1985 in Soviet Union, he was living in Bulgaria bef. 2007]. As previously reported by The Insider, GRU unit No. 29155 has been carrying out explosions in EU countries since 2011 [in 2011, around me Kamil K. of Chelmza; Szymon Burchard of Lodz, Aleksander Staniszewski of Wroclaw, Maciej Burnicki, spy from Tczew; and IWAN of Lithuania, devil face, fat man, b. ca 1986/1990, 180 cm]. The first diversion occurred at a warehouse in Bulgaria, where ammunition destined, presumably, for sale to Georgia was transported". We have at present in Zilina,
